It is getting to be like this in areas around the U.S.. Police feel they can tell anyone not to take pictures, confiscate their cameras, or even break their cameras. We are hoping for more balance in the future. I miss the first amendment.

Actually even under Terrorism law they cannot make you delete your photographs. Nor can they take your camera without first arresting you (PACE).

It requires a court-order to force the deletion of your images.

This may interest you. This poor chap had a camera but wasn’t even taking pictures, but he did have the misfortune of being Asian. Not bearded, turbaned, one eye and a hook Asian, but clean shaven, jeans and t-shirt Asian.

I took some photos of Nottingham Castle out of my office canteen window recently, and some bright spark warned me against it – thing is, I work for the local government and it’s our bloody castle!!! AND ANOTHER THING … why would I want to bomb gardeners and architects anyway?
